Burke looks forward to working with growers in WA. After completing a degree in Commerce at Curtin University he worked for Gillette Australia in various roles based in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before returning to WA to be closer to family and friends.

For the past 15 years he has worked for Olympus managing the WA, SA and NT markets.

Outside of work, Burke enjoys spending time camping and fishing with his family.

Lachlan joined Grain Brokers Australia having completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University. Lachlan’s interest in agriculture began through his father’s upbringing on a sheep and wheat farm, in Leeton, NSW.

The family now owns a farm in Bridgetown where he enjoys getting down to lend a hand. Lachlan is excited to further his knowledge in the grain industry and looks forward to working with growers across Western Australia.

Outside of work, Lachlan enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Jaxon joined Grain Brokers Australia whilst in his final year at Curtin University studying a Bachelor of Agribusiness. Jaxon grew up on his family farm in Dumbleyung and then moved to Perth to complete his secondary education.

His passion for agriculture and specifically grain brokering came from his upbringing on the farm and his strong interest in the grain markets. Jaxon is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in grain and global markets and working with WA growers.

Outside of work, Jaxon enjoys fishing, sport and going back to the farm to give his family a hand.

Reese joined Grain Brokers Australia after changing direction from the Ag Chem side of the industry to explore Grain Brokering. Reese has completed a Bachelor of Science at Murdoch University and has previously worked for Nutrien, Farmers Business Network, and the Department of Agriculture.

With a wide range of skills, Reese is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of grain in both local and global markets to further assist growers in WA.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, watching football, shooting, and fishing.

Katie started working in Ballarat in 2010 in the Victorian Grain Industry primarily in grading specifications, logistics, and grower services.

She then transferred to the hay industry where she spent time in hay quality specifications, inventory control and trade management, and is very excited to extend her knowledge and experience in the grain industry and looks forward to working closely with growers across Victoria.

Callum joined Grain Brokers after making the decision to move into grain marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, which is where his interest in international and domestic grain markets began. Callum is excited to expand his knowledge in the grain sector and international markets and looks forward to working with growers in Victoria and New South Wales. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, soccer and playing the bagpipes.

The need for a full brokering service to farmers in WA in the lead up to deregulation of the export grain industry was the reason behind Jeff starting Grain Brokers Australia.

Jeff founded Grain Brokers Australia (formerly Grainassist Perth) in WA in September 2007, after working for AWB in the eastern Wheatbelt.

Originally from a family farm in Gnowangerup, Jeff moved to Victoria to study at Marcus Oldham College in Geelong, before returning home to work in the grain industry in WA.

David has worked in agribusiness in Australia for more than 25 years. His professional experience includes banking, grain trading (international and domestic), marketing, business development and senior management.

Past employers include Australian Barley Board (ABB), Grainco (Marketlink), Peter Cremer Australia and Mars Australia. David has a deep understanding of domestic and international grain markets and supply chains as well as a grassroots grasp of the needs and priorities of growers.

He has excellent relationships across all sectors of the agribusiness industry. David joined Grain Brokers Australia in March 2017 and is committed to the success of the business in this new phase of development.

Kirsten joined the team at Grain Brokers Australia in November 2013. Kirsten grew up on the family farm at Jerramungup and moved to Perth to complete her secondary education.

She has previously worked as a Sampler at CBH for 3 years during the harvesting period. Kirsten comes to us at Grain Brokers Australia with a broad knowledge of all aspects of grain growing, livestock management and office experience which she has gained during previous employment.

When not at work, Kirsten enjoys catching up with friends and family and getting to the beach.

Lucy works part time for Grain Brokers in Perth.

She is currently studying a Bachelor of Law and a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance at Notre Dame University.

Outside of work and study, Lucy enjoys sailing and visiting her farming friends to lend a hand.
