Burke joined the Grain Brokers team in 2020.

After completing a degree in Commerce at Curtin University, Burke worked for Gillette Australia in various roles based in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before returning to WA to be closer to family and friends.

Burke has also worked for Olympus for 15 years managing the WA, SA and NT markets.

Outside of work, Burke enjoys spending time camping and fishing with his family.

Lachlan joined Grain Brokers Australia having completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University. Lachlan’s interest in agriculture began through his father’s upbringing on a sheep and wheat farm, in Leeton, NSW.

The family now owns a farm in Bridgetown where he enjoys getting down to lend a hand. Lachlan is excited to further his knowledge in the grain industry and looks forward to working with growers across Western Australia.

Outside of work, Lachlan enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with friends and family.

Jaxon joined Grain Brokers Australia whilst in his final year at Curtin University studying a Bachelor of Agribusiness. Jaxon grew up on his family farm in Dumbleyung and then moved to Perth to complete his secondary education.

His passion for agriculture and specifically grain brokering came from his upbringing on the farm and his strong interest in the grain markets. Jaxon is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in grain and global markets and working with WA growers.

Outside of work, Jaxon enjoys fishing, sport and going back to the farm to give his family a hand.

Oxana has joined the GBA broker team to support our clients in the northern Kwinana and Geraldton port zones.

Originally from the Black Sea region, Oxana came to Australia in 2009 to complete her master’s degree.

She has over 10 years’ experience working in agribusiness in Australia including roles at GrainCorp, CBH and Milne AgriGroup.

Outside of work, Oxana enjoys her sports including weightlifting, CrossFit, and judo, as well as spending time with friends and family.

Jarrad joined Grain Brokers Australia during the final year of his Bachelor of Agribusiness degree at Curtin University.

Jarrad has previously worked in coordinating business-to-business trades and marketing before changing direction to explore Grain Brokering. With a wide range of skills, Jarrad is looking forward to expanding his knowledge of grain in both local and global markets to further assist growers in WA.

Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, hiking, and shooting.

Callum joined Grain Brokers after making the decision to move into grain marketing. He holds a Bachelor of Agribusiness from Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, which is where his interest in international and domestic grain markets began.

Callum is excited to expand his knowledge in the grain sector and international markets and looks forward to working with growers in Victoria and New South Wales. Outside of work, he enjoys skiing, soccer and playing the bagpipes.

Since completing a degree in Agriculture from the University of Melbourne, Tom has worked in the commodities space both in Australia and overseas prior to joining the Grain Brokers team in Victoria.

Tom is looking forward to using his skills and knowledge of global and domestic grain markets to assist growers achieve higher prices.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys playing and watching sports as well as spending time with friends and family.

Eddy grew up on his family farm, where he developed a strong agricultural foundation. He moved to Melbourne to study agriculture at Melbourne University, blending his practical farm experience with academic insights.

On weekends, Eddy enjoys playing footy and fishing, which keep him connected to his rural roots and offers a well-deserved break from his professional pursuits.

The need for a full brokering service to farmers in WA in the lead up to deregulation of the export grain industry was the reason behind Jeff starting Grain Brokers Australia.

Jeff founded Grain Brokers Australia (formerly Grainassist Perth) in WA in September 2007, after working for AWB in the eastern Wheatbelt.

Originally from a family farm in Gnowangerup, Jeff moved to Victoria to study at Marcus Oldham College in Geelong, before returning home to work in the grain industry in WA.

David has worked in agribusiness in Australia for more than 25 years. His professional experience includes banking, grain trading (international and domestic), marketing, business development and senior management.

Past employers include Australian Barley Board (ABB), Grainco (Marketlink), Peter Cremer Australia and Mars Australia. David has a deep understanding of domestic and international grain markets and supply chains as well as a grassroots grasp of the needs and priorities of growers.

He has excellent relationships across all sectors of the agribusiness industry. David joined Grain Brokers Australia in March 2017 and is committed to the success of the business in this new phase of development.

Paul joined GBA as our General Manager in March 2024. He is an experienced business leader who spent the last 7 years overseeing organisational performance for a successful business delivering medical and emergency response services to the Australian mining industry.

Paul’s approach to business is built on solid communication. He’s excited to build his knowledge and experience in the grain industry and looks forward to establishing strong relationships with Australian growers and GBA members to optimise client returns.

Outside of work Paul enjoys camping, surfing, fishing, family holidays and coaching the local junior footy team.

Kirsten joined the team at Grain Brokers Australia in November 2013. Kirsten grew up on the family farm at Jerramungup and moved to Perth to complete her secondary education.

She has previously worked as a Sampler at CBH for 3 years during the harvesting period. Kirsten comes to us at Grain Brokers Australia with a broad knowledge of all aspects of grain growing, livestock management and office experience which she has gained during previous employment.

When not at work, Kirsten enjoys catching up with friends and family and going to the beach.

Molly joined Grain Brokers in 2024 and works part time in the Perth office. She has previously worked as a Sampler at CBH during the harvesting season.

She is currently studying a Bachelor of Marketing and Public Relations, and a Bachelor of Communications and Media at Notre Dame University.

Outside of work and study, Molly enjoys going to the beach and visiting her farming friends to lend a hand.

Nick joined Grain Brokers Australia in August 2024 as Head of Commercial IT.

He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in Finance and Trading having worked in Investment Banking and Hedge Funds in the UK.

His Passion for Agriculture and the grain market came from CBH Group where we worked as Derivative Trader, S&D Analyst and Data Scientist over his 6 year tenure.

Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing rugby, listening to electronic music and spending time with his young family.
