Lachlan Murphy
Senior Grain Marketing Advisor
Lachlan joined Grain Brokers Australia having completed a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University. Lachlan’s interest in agriculture began through his father’s upbringing on a sheep and wheat farm, in Leeton, NSW.
The family now owns a farm in Bridgetown where he enjoys getting down to lend a hand. Lachlan is excited to further his knowledge in the grain industry and looks forward to working with growers across Western Australia.
Outside of work, Lachlan enjoys all things outdoors and spending time with friends and family.
Burke Flynn
Grain Marketing Advisor
Burke joined the Grain Brokers team in 2020.
After completing a degree in Commerce at Curtin University, Burke worked for Gillette Australia in various roles based in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne before returning to WA to be closer to family and friends.
Burke has also worked for Olympus for 15 years managing the WA, SA and NT markets.
Outside of work, Burke enjoys spending time camping and fishing with his family.
Jaxon Ramm
Grain Marketing Advisor
Jaxon joined Grain Brokers Australia whilst in his final year at Curtin University studying a Bachelor of Agribusiness. Jaxon grew up on his family farm in Dumbleyung and then moved to Perth to complete his secondary education.
His passion for agriculture and specifically grain brokering came from his upbringing on the farm and his strong interest in the grain markets. Jaxon is looking forward to expanding his knowledge in grain and global markets and working with WA growers.
Outside of work, Jaxon enjoys fishing, sport and going back to the farm to give his family a hand.
Thomas Dravitzki
Grain Marketing Advisor
Thomas joined the GBA broker team to support clients in achieving their grain marketing goals.
Originally from New Zealand, he relocated to Western Australia in 2023 to pursue a career in the Australian grain industry. Thomas has gained experience across a variety of agricultural roles, including export sales and marketing with CBH and wool brokerage in New Zealand.
His early interest in agriculture led him to pursue a degree in Agricultural Science, which has since evolved into a strong passion for helping growers navigate financial markets and optimise their marketing strategies.
Outside of work, Thomas enjoys spending time outdoors and catching up with family and friends.
Craig Higgins
Grain Marketing Advisor
Craig grew up on the family farm in the Rocky Gully/Frankland River region, where he farmed sheep and cropped for his own use. The farm was sold when he moved to Perth to pursue cricket, playing ten years of Premier League cricket with South Perth and Prahran in Victoria, along with two seasons of minor county cricket in England.
After cricket, Craig returned to the country to pursue a career in livestock with Elders. In response to the downturn in sheep numbers, he shifted direction and joined GBA as a Grain Broker in 2025. Based in Hopetoun, he focuses on achieving the best outcomes for growers.
Outside of work, Craig enjoys golf, fishing, and time with family and friends.

Andy Cunliffe
Senior Grain Marketing Advisor
Andy has worked in the grain and agribusiness sector for more than 30 years. His experience spans domestic and international grain trading, origination, marketing, logistics and commercial risk management.
He has held senior trading and commercial roles across the Australian grain industry, including with companies such as Louis Dreyfus and Adams Australia, and has extensive experience working with growers, consumers and supply-chain partners across a broad range of grain and feed commodities. Andy has a practical understanding of market dynamics and a strong appreciation of the priorities of both growers and end users.
Outside of work, Andy values time with family, enjoys golf, and has a keen interest in travel.
Eddy Ziebarth
Grain Marketing Advisor
Eddy grew up on his family farm, where he developed a strong agricultural foundation. He moved to Melbourne to study agriculture at Melbourne University, blending his practical farm experience with academic insights.
On weekends, Eddy enjoys playing footy and fishing, which keep him connected to his rural roots and offers a well-deserved break from his professional pursuits.
Lachlan Coe
Associate Grain Marketing Advisor
Lachlan grew up on his family farm in Henty, NSW, where he developed practical farming experience and a strong understanding of agriculture from a young age.
After finishing school, he took a gap year working full-time on the farm before going on to study a Bachelor of Agricultural Business Management at Charles Sturt University in Wagga Wagga, developing a strong theoretical foundation to complement his hands-on experience.
Lachie has a genuine passion for agriculture and is committed to building strong, lasting relationships with growers while providing well-informed, practical advice.
Outside of work, Lachie enjoys spending time with his wife, camping, and playing music.
Xavier Chirgwin
Associate Grain Marketing Advisor
Xavier grew up on an irrigation property in the Central Riverina, where he developed a deep passion for agriculture. Xavier pursued a Bachelor of Agricultural Science at the University of Melbourne, where he combined practical experience with academic study to further strengthen his understanding and love of the agricultural industry.
Today, Xavier combines his hands-on farming background and academic expertise to provide informed advice on grain markets. He remains closely connected to his rural roots through his family and involvement in the local football and netball community, giving him a strong understanding and appreciation of the challenges and opportunities faced by growers.
With a strong passion for grain, pulses and oilseeds industry, Xavier is committed to working closely with growers and supporting them to make confident, well-informed decisions for their businesses.

Felipe Duranona
Grain Marketing Advisor
Felipe has over eight years of experience working in agriculture across Argentina and Australia, ranging from hands-on farming to grain marketing. With a strong background in agriculture and market analysis, he enjoys working closely with growers, brokers, and consultants to achieve the best results for their crops. With a background in agronomy and market analysis, Felipe combines technical knowledge with a genuine passion for building long-term relationships.
Originally from Argentina, Felipe is fluent in both Spanish and English. Outside of work, he enjoys camping and fishing with friends.

Jeffrey Winspear
Director
The need for a full brokering service to farmers in WA in the lead up to deregulation of the export grain industry was the reason behind Jeff starting Grain Brokers Australia.
Jeff founded Grain Brokers Australia (formerly Grainassist Perth) in WA in September 2007, after working for AWB in the eastern Wheatbelt.
Originally from a family farm in Gnowangerup, Jeff moved to Victoria to study at Marcus Oldham College in Geelong, before returning home to work in the grain industry in WA.
David Hanrahan
General Manager
David has worked in agribusiness in Australia for more than 25 years. His professional experience includes banking, grain trading (international and domestic), marketing, business development and senior management.
Past employers include Australian Barley Board (ABB), Grainco (Marketlink), Peter Cremer Australia and Mars Australia. David has a deep understanding of domestic and international grain markets and supply chains as well as a grassroots grasp of the needs and priorities of growers.
He has excellent relationships across all sectors of the agribusiness industry. David joined Grain Brokers Australia in March 2017 and is committed to the success of the business in this new phase of development.
Kirsten Ross
Operations Coordinator
Kirsten joined the team at Grain Brokers Australia in November 2013. Kirsten grew up on the family farm at Jerramungup and moved to Perth to complete her secondary education.
She has previously worked as a Sampler at CBH for 3 years during the harvesting period. Kirsten comes to us at Grain Brokers Australia with a broad knowledge of all aspects of grain growing, livestock management and office experience which she has gained during previous employment.
When not at work, Kirsten enjoys catching up with friends and family and going to the beach.
Molly Alderson
Marketing Administrator
Molly joined Grain Brokers in 2024 and works part time in the Perth office. She has previously worked as a Sampler at CBH during the harvesting season.
She is currently studying a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring Marketing and Human Resource Management at The University of Notre Dame.
Outside of work and study, Molly enjoys going to the beach and visiting her farming friends to lend a hand.
Nick Tidswell
Commercial technology
Nick joined Grain Brokers Australia in August 2024 as Head of Commercial IT.
He brings with him a wealth of knowledge in Finance and Trading having worked in Investment Banking and Hedge Funds in the UK.
His Passion for Agriculture and the grain market came from CBH Group where we worked as Derivative Trader, S&D Analyst and Data Scientist over his 6 year tenure.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys playing rugby, listening to electronic music and spending time with his young family.
Gabbi Verrall
Grower Services Coordinator
Gabbi joined the team at Grain Brokers Australia in 2025 and is based in the Perth office. She is currently studying a Bachelor of Agribusiness at Curtin University.
Gabbi brings a strong background in administration, having worked in high-pressure environments across the mining and agricultural sectors. Growing up with hands-on experience in farming—particularly in livestock handling—she combines practical industry knowledge with business insight.
She is excited to grow her understanding of the grain industry and apply her skills to support WA growers.
Outside of work and study, Gabbi enjoys spending time outdoors, catching up with friends, and heading back to the family farm when she can.
